Good Times
The night of the super bowl I was at my grandma's house, we had about 25 people over there and once it was over and the packers won, my friend Tommy called me. It was only like 9:30 and he asked if I wanted to come over, so i told my mom that I was going to my friends house, she said it was OK. When I got to his house he answered the door and said "Hey whats up?" so we went in and we sat on his couch and watched T.V. then he tells me that his parents aren't home. So I was like OK no big deal then about 10 minutes later his mom calls and said that she was on her way. he told me that they are still 45 minutes away. Then about 10 minutes later his parent's pull into the driveway. He told me that once they close the garage door I can run out the front door. Well his parents didn't close the garage so he says, "Colin, come with me." and tells me to run out the back door. At this time there was still 4 feet of snow in some places so I had to run through the snow and then go back to my house.

You left a party of 25 football fans to go wath TV? Tommy should have gone to your house!
ReplyDeleteThe focal point of your narrative is avoiding the parents in the end. Make that the bigger part of your story and put in enough suspense that the reader holds their breath hoping you don't get caught.
Most of the fun people left.
